Jenna Marwitz and Nicole Sparks

Small-town girls, best friends, and business partners Jenna Marwitz and Nicole Sparks are well-known to their many slow-cooking aficionados as the Crockin' Girls. What started as a fun and fast way to post and share recipes with their family and friends quickly went viral, burgeoning into a highly trafficked website and widely "Liked" Facebook page. Their tagline, "Slow Cookin' Mamas in a Fast-Paced World," perfectly encapsulates their philosophy of helping busy folks spend less time in the kitchen and more time with their loved ones. The Crockin' Girls' first cookbook-which will be brimming with recipes for nutritious, delicious, and easy-to make meals-is due out this spring. Also an avid crafter (besides Crockin', sewing is her favorite pastime!), Jenna and husband Stanton, who works as a coach, are the proud parents of two young children. In addition to her Crockin' Girls duties, Nicole owns a local dance studio, where she works full-time as an instructor. She also is wife to Kris, who owns an insurance agency, and mommy to two precious kiddos. Both Jenna and Nicole live in Brownwood, Texas.

Neale S. Godfrey is an acknowledged expert on family and children's finances who has been in the financial field for more than 30 years. Early in her career, Neale became one of the first female executives at The Chase Manhattan Bank. Later, she became the president of The First Women's Bank and founder of The First Children's Bank. Neale was the first to develop money curriculum for children, entitled The One and Only Common Sense/Cents Series and a CD-ROM called Money Town, both created for children Pre-K through High School. As a former Nationally Syndicated Columnist for the Associated Press, Neale has published countless articles in newspapers and magazines throughout the country. Neale is the author of 26 books that deal with money, life skills, and values. She has also been honored with a #1 New York Times Best Seller, Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees: A Parent’s Guide to Raising Financially Responsible Children.

Lisa Lloyd

Lisa Lloyd is a professional actor, speaker and as her 4-year-old son calls her, a "silly, crazy mommy." Lisa performs and speaks on a consistent basis for numerous organizations and churches. Past acting credits include, "Prison Break", "Young and the Restless", "Bold and the Beautiful", as well as numerous commercials and industrials. She can currently be seen in a national commercial for the restaurant chain, "Zaxby's" (the brunette in the far, VERY far, back right corner… that's her.) Lisa is a self-proclaimed "mess" and perhaps like you, is just trying to "make it work" each day. She is currently on staff as a children's minister at Legacy Church in Plano, Texas. Lisa and her husband Markus have been married for 10 years and have 2 boys, the aforementioned 4-year-old "Deuce" (Markus, Jr.) and 18 month-old Solomon.

Markus has been serving as a Children's Minister at Legacy Church in Plano for the past three years. His mission is championing the involvement of parents in the lives of their kids. In his spare time, Markus is a professional singer and actor. He is also a published writer and serves on the boards of two Plano non-profits, Minnie's Food Pantry and This Side Up Family Fun Center. Markus lives in Frisco with his wife Lisa and two boys, Markus Jr. (Deuce) and Solomon.

Kelly Rohlfs Lyden is constantly in search of that new hot idea! She founded The Party Dress ~ Inspirations from the Well-Heeled Hostess in 2009 while in desperate search for a creative outlet. The blog following grew quickly, and she expanded her inspiration umbrella to include The Party Dress Magazine in 2011, a quarterly publication that showcases unique party ideas from top bloggers and event stylists. WH Hostess, her social stationery company, opened its doors in 2010. Kelly is the go-to girl for party planning ideas! Her work has been featured on Martha Stewart, HGTV.com, InStyle Magazine, and numerous on-line publications and blogs including Nesting Newbies, Hostess with the Mostess, Amy Atlas, P is for Party, Celebrations at Home, CupcakeMag, Little Red Bus, and so many more!

Kara is the owner, editor, and party designer of www.LillianHopeDesigns.com. She was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and has always had a passion for the creative things in life. In October of 2010 she officially began her journey as a designer. She soon realized that her true passion was designing parties of all types. Kara decided to take a leap of faith and start LillianHopeDesigns, which was named after her daughter who has been her motivation and driving force for starting this business. Kara has a love for photoshop and designs printable party decorations as well. Kara is a sought after party designer through her blog and she gets excited about making beautiful parties at affordable prices. Kara is a single mom to an amazing little girl, Lillian Hope age 7.

Brenda Bird is an independent consultant providing training and motivation for school districts, education service centers, business groups, and churches. Her audiences have included prisoners, executives, teachers, counselors, ministers, parents, and children. Brenda is humorous, entertaining, and inspirational. Her warm, relational style draws people to her, and audience members frequently say, "I could listen to her all day!" Drawing from her own experiences as the mother of three "awesome" sons, as a former high school teacher and parent involvement specialist, and based on the wealth of information she has gained while working with other parents and teachers, Brenda teaches practical skills with passion and purpose.

Lorraine Brock is a professional organizer, family coach, speaker, and founder and president of Get Organized!, a company that helps clients take control of cluttered homes and lives. Lorraine started Get Organized! in early 2007 as a presenter on organizing the home. Since that time, Get Organized! has grown to a team of seven organizers who are all trained by Lorraine herself. Lorraine has been married 23 years to her high school sweetheart and has three teenage boys. When asked if her home is organized, Lorraine says, "Yes, everything has a place, but my goal is not perfection first, it's function."

Rachel Calderon is the traffic anchor of Eyewitness News 5 in the Morning. She joined the station in 2011 after working as a reporter on the KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles, where she covered a variety of stories, including entertainment and the Academy Awards. When Rachel is not chasing news, she's either at the gym, planning her family’s next vacation, finding a healthier version of her favorite comfort food, or sifting through her coupon binder. She lives in the Oklahoma City metro area with her husband and their 2-year old son.

Rebecca Ashbrook Carrell has been a radio personality in the DFW area for the last 13 years, spending nearly a decade of that time with the Dorsey Gang on 96.3 KSCS. She left that post in early January 2011 to spend more time at home and also on her ministry, Love, Serve, Shine. Not able to stay out of radio long, she recently accepted a part-time position at 90.9 KCBI. Rebecca founded LSS Ministries two years ago, and her heart's desire is to encourage women. She authors a devotional on her website, LoveServeShine.com. Rebecca and her husband, Mike, have two children, Caitlyn and Nicholas.

Raised on a large working ranch in the Texas Hill Country, Jeff Potts, Ed.D., grew up learning the importance of hard work and family values. A graduate of Baylor University, he has master’s degrees from two universities and earned his Ed.D. in teaching and learning from a fourth institution. Potts launched his pedagogical career in the 1990s, working full-time with students and parents. A published author, as well as the subject of numerous articles written by educators, Potts has founded multiple nonprofits and serves on various corporate boards. An active member of 121 Community Church in Grapevine, Texas, he also teaches a weekly Bible study for young married couples. He and Kristin, his wife of 15 years, are the proud parents of three ever-active boys: JD, Jackson and Justice.

In her spare time, she works as a cognitive coach and parent educator for parents needing tips, tools and strategies for rearing kids with wisdom and accessing educational environments to meet their family’s needs. Her passion for successfully educating all children comes from her most notable role as mother to 7-year-old Ashton and 3-year-old Aidan James. She and husband Roderick along with the awesome ‘A-Team’ live and play in DeSoto.

Victoria Snee is an AP Award winning journalist. She joined MIX 102.9 in 2007 as co-host of the morning drive radio show "The Morning Mix." Prior to joining the show in a full-time capacity, she was a regular weekly contributor of fashion and entertainment segments. In 2009, she was named one of Dallas’ Ten Most Beautiful Women by D Magazine. Victoria has covered lifestyle, fashion and entertainment stories in DFW for more than a decade working as a reporter on CW33 News at Nine. Victoria is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. Victoria lives in Plano with her husband, former FOX 4 News reporter, Jeff Crilley.
